Refund policy

Please see our return and exchange policy below:

  • Apparel items may be returned within 30 days of purchase if the item has not been washed or worn and is free of odor, pet hair, makeup, etc. 
  • We are not able to process REFUNDS on items (except from the vintage collection). Items can be exchanged for a different size or store credit can be issued upon returning item.
  • Apparel items may be exchanged for a different size if in stock. If the size needed is not in stock, store credit will be issued for the returned item. 
  • Scissor and knife cuts accidentally made in apparel from opening the package are not considered a "damaged" item and are not covered under our return or damaged policies. These items are the responsibility of the customer to replace.
  • We are not able to hold items you are exchanging for.
  • All SALE items are final sale and NOT eligible for return.

The following are also not eligible for returns or exchanges: giveaway items and free gifts with purchase.


Vintage Collection Policy:

  • All vintage items are sold as is.
  • If items are damaged upon arrival please email pictures to backfortyruralapparel@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order and mail back the damaged item. After reviewing the pictures and receiving the damaged item, we will refund your order. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Fees for return shipping label will be deducted from your refund. 

 

Making a return:

  • If you would like to return or exchange for difference size please email backfortyruralapparel@gmail.com with your order number, item, and reason for return.
  • Once your return is received, it will be processed within 7 days and the exchange item shipped back to you or an email with a store credit code will be sent.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping of all returns and exchanges and original shipping is non-refundable.

 

If a return is received that does not meet the above criteria, it will subsequently be rejected and a shipping invoice will be issued to ship back to the customer.
